We do not make the waving fabric tube. We do make the two other kinds of advertising inflatable, and the difference between them decides which belongs at your business.
Straight answer first
An air dancer is the tall fabric tube that waves about on a blower. We do not make that particular product.
What we do make is two families of advertising inflatable. **Helium** balloons and blimps that fly on a tether at 120 feet, from a 4.5-foot sphere up to a 30-foot blimp. And **cold-air** inflatables, which are custom shapes standing on the ground on a blower, much like an air dancer but built to a shape rather than a tube. Cows, sumo wrestlers, monsters, product shapes, up to around 25 feet.
So if what you want is a moving figure at your kerb, ask about cold-air. If you want to be seen from the road, ask about helium. Tell us the job and we will say which fits.
Where each one wins
- Air dancer — Cheap, immediate, and effective right at the kerb where people are already walking past.
- Helium inflatable — Visible from a distance, from roads that cannot see your building at all.
- Air dancer — Needs a socket, an extension lead and a fan running all day.
- Helium inflatable — Needs helium every few days and nothing else. No power, no noise.
- Air dancer — Fabric wears in sun and wind and is usually a seasonal purchase.
- Helium inflatable — Polyurethane. Customers are still flying the same one after fourteen years.
The reason height matters
A cold-air inflatable is large right in front of your building and hidden behind the next one along. That is not a criticism; it is what the product is for. Close-up presence at your entrance.
A 13-foot blimp at 120 feet clears rooflines, sign clutter and trees, and is readable from roads that cannot see your premises at all.
That is the trade, and it is why we build both. One works on people already at your door. The other works on people who do not yet know you exist.
What ours costs
The 13-foot blimp is $1,526 with full colour artwork printed on both sides included. Shipping is $135, UPS Ground from our North Carolina factory, two to five business days.
A 5.5-foot sphere is $350 and ships for $27. It gets attention but carries no message.
After purchase the only running cost is helium. A 200 cubic foot tank is about $300 locally, a blimp fills for around $255, and top-offs run roughly $2.50 a day.
