We do not make air dancers. We make the other kind of advertising inflatable, and the difference between the two decides which one belongs at your business.
Straight answer first
An air dancer is the tall fabric tube that waves about on a blower. It sits on the ground, it needs mains power, and the fan has to run the entire time it is up. Turn the power off and it collapses.
We manufacture helium inflatables instead. They fly on a tether at 120 feet, need no power at all, and are readable from roads that cannot see your building.
If you specifically want a waving fabric tube on the pavement, we are not your supplier and we would rather tell you now.
Where each one wins
- Air dancer — Cheap, immediate, and effective right at the kerb where people are already walking past.
- Helium inflatable — Visible from a distance, from roads that cannot see your building at all.
- Air dancer — Needs a socket, an extension lead and a fan running all day.
- Helium inflatable — Needs helium every few days and nothing else. No power, no noise.
- Air dancer — Fabric wears in sun and wind and is usually a seasonal purchase.
- Helium inflatable — Polyurethane. Customers are still flying the same one after fourteen years.
The reason height matters
An air dancer is roughly twenty feet tall and stands on your forecourt. From two hundred yards down the road it is behind the building next door.
A 13-foot blimp at 120 feet clears rooflines, sign clutter and trees. It is smaller and it is seen from much further away, because altitude does more work than size does.
That is the whole trade, and it is why we build what we build.
What ours costs
The 13-foot blimp is $1,526 with full colour artwork printed on both sides included. Shipping is $135, UPS Ground from our North Carolina factory, two to five business days.
A 5.5-foot sphere is $350 and ships for $27. It gets attention but carries no message.
After purchase the only running cost is helium. A 200 cubic foot tank is about $300 locally, a blimp fills for around $255, and top-offs run roughly $2.50 a day.
